The customer wanted to have a product that would not only give him privacy, but block the sun from fading his new hard wood floors that they added earlier in the year. They found that the 3 1/2″ louvers did just that. They gave enough light control to get plenty of light, yet they could angle the louvers to protect the wood floors. With the standard tilt bar the customer was able to keep a traditional look on his Lakewood shutters that enhanced his custom crown molding and base boards that he so proudly installed himself. The framing option of the Z frame also added charm and beauty to these custom wood shutters giving the windows a finished and elegant look. On the main window in the living room we used a four panel option which allows the client to full open the window by folding the panels back onto the wall. This option allows for the customer to have an unobstructed view of their beautiful fruit trees when they are in full bloom. Shutters have surly become a growing hit in this home style city of Lakewood, CA.
